Hitron Technologies, Inc. designs and manufactures a series of embedded modules that pave the way to a future in which data over cable interface specification (DOCSIS™) cable modem functionality is embedded in a wide range of consumer electroncs devices such as games consoles, set-top-boxes and digital televisions. Our state-of-the-art engineering design allows the modules to be completely self-contained and require no resources from the host system. The modules' full enclosure in RF shielding material ensures zero RF interference to or from the system.
DOCSIS 2.0
Hitron's D2 cable modem modules enable high-speed data transmission via coaxial cable, with downstream speeds of up to 38Mbps from the network to the user, and internal 10/100Mbps Ethernet connectivity via customized pin header, or standard RJ45 connectors.
DOCSIS 3.0
Hitron's D3 cable modem modules are the ideal solution for cable operators who want to add value to their network by offering broadband Internet connectivity to their current or future customer base. The modules offer extremely high-speed data transfers of up to 320Mbps downstream (with eight-channel bonding) and 120Mbps upstream (with four-channel bonding). They provide FTTH service capability over the installed HFC cable plant. We also offer industrial-grade embedded modules for outdoor applications involving environmental extremes.
