Hitron will demonstrate a new line-up of DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 IPTV gateway; providing a solution for both high speed data and switched video applications at the same time. With multiple tuners and demodulators, the products are integrated with several manufacturers’ EdgeQAM for IPSV (IP switched Video) solutions. This support of IPSV enables MSO’s to provide IPTV over DOCSIS, or translate DVB-C to IPTV on the gateway, while support PiP
and DVR functionality on the STB.
